Our Journey

From humble beginnings to a global FMCG export partner, the journey of S S Enterprises reflects over four decades of trust, scale, and continuous evolution in the FMCG trade.

1983

The Beginning

S S Enterprises was founded by Mr. Naresh Chand Gupta (Chairman) in the capital of India.

The business started modestly by selling FMCG products piece by piece, building relationships with retailers and local traders.

Mid-1980s

Growing from Pieces to Cartons

As trust and demand increased, the business evolved from piece sales to carton-level wholesale trading, serving a wider network of retailers and market distributors.

1987

Major Milestone – Distributor of Unilever

S S Enterprises became a major distributor for Unilever in Delhi, one of India’s largest FMCG markets. This transition marked the move to large-scale distribution, supplying goods in truck and vehicle loads to wholesalers and dealers.

1990s – 2000s

Strengthening the Distribution Network

The company continued expanding its FMCG portfolio and dealer network, adding more leading brands and strengthening its position as a large wholesale and distribution partner in the market.

2011

Entry of the Next Generation

After completing his MBAShashank Gupta joined the business, bringing new ideas and expansion strategies.

Under his leadership, the company expanded its brand portfolio by adding global FMCG companies such as:

  • Johnson & Johnson
  • Garnier
  • Reckitt Benckiser

This phase introduced more structured systems, larger sourcing capabilities, and modern trade practices.

2016

Entry into Global FMCG Exports

Building on decades of domestic distribution expertise, S S Enterprises entered the international export market.

The company began serving global importers and also started managing export accounts for Unilever, expanding the business footprint beyond India.

Today, S S Enterprises combines 40+ years of FMCG distribution legacy with modern export systems, serving international buyers across 18 countries.

With a strong domestic network of 3000+ dealers and growing global partnerships, the company continues to focus on structured sourcing, transparency, and long-term trade relationships.
